This route mirrors the spouse visa but is designed for unmarried couples who can demonstrate at least 2 years of living together.
Who Can Apply?
- You are in a genuine and subsisting relationship with a British citizen or someone with settled/pre-settled status
- You have lived together for at least 2 years in a relationship akin to marriage or civil partnership
- Both partners are aged 18 or over
- You intend to live together permanently in the UK
- You meet the minimum income requirement (£18,600 per year, plus extra if children are involved)
- You meet the English language requirement

- +£3,800 for 1st child
- +£2,400 for each additional child
