UK Spouse Visa – Bring Your Partner to the UK and Build Your Life Together

Comprehensive Legal Support from London’s Leading Solicitors

The UK Spouse Visa allows a British citizen or settled person to bring their husband, wife, or civil partner to the UK for long-term family life. This route leads to Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and ultimately British citizenship. Whether you are applying from abroad or switching from within the UK, this visa ensures your right to live, work, and build a future together.

At Right Law Solicitors, we provide compassionate, thorough legal support to help you navigate the complex application process, including income evidence, accommodation proof, and relationship documentation.

What Is the UK Spouse Visa?

This visa allows a non-UK partner to join their British or settled spouse in the UK and:

  • Live and work in the UK for 2.5 years
  • Apply to extend and settle (ILR) after 5 years
  • Access the NHS (via the Immigration Health Surcharge)
  • Bring children as dependants
  • Switch routes from within the UK (if eligible)

It is part of the family migration route under the UK Immigration Rules.
